SHOEY
Indian Pale Ales
Shoey is an Australian alcohol brand that I created for a drink design project. The name itself is a reference to "doing a shoey," an Australian act where you pour your drink into your shoe and down it.
I did my best to make this as accurate as possible! This meant making the Aussie warning labels that are required for single serve alcoholic beverages and doing research on the limits of IPA flavor profiles.
I also wanted to nod at the efforts Australia makes to protect their waters and environments.... so every Shoey you buy gives funding to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
Yes, I made drinking environmentally ethical.
